A pH-balanced, soap free and natural, period cup and intimate wash

Cleansing a menstrual cup with regular hand soap can cause discomfort, irritation and even infections for some women. Therefore, we recommend cleansing your cup using OrganiWash, a natural period cup wash that is mild, pH-balanced, perfume-free soap. On occasions without access to water, we recommend our OrganiWipes.

FAQ

How do I clean the OrganiCup?

During your period simply rinse your OrganiCup with clean water. It’s not necessary to use soap to clean your cup, but if you prefer using soap, it’s important to use a perfume free and pH-balanced soap such as the OrganiWash.

You don’t need to sanitize your cup between uses while on your period.

However, once your period has finished, you need to sanitize your OrganiCup: in a pot, boil the OrganiCup in water for 3-5 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on the pot so the water doesn’t vaporize, or the cup falls to the bottom and burns.

If you don’t have access to boiling water use OrganiWipes, which are made specifically for disinfecting your cup when you don’t have access to boiling water.

How do I clean the OrganiCup in public toilets?

When cleaning the OrganiCup between uses, you must clean it with cold running tap water.

If you’re travelling and do not have access to clean running water for longer periods of time, make sure to bring some bottled water with you or use a disinfecting wipe such as an OrganiWipe.

If you don’t have either, you can simply wipe it clean with toilet paper and clean it once you have access to a bathroom.
